January has been a busy month.

Salisbury Writer’s invited me to their guest author for their January meeting, which was wonderful. What was not quite so wonderful was the snow and ice and sub-zero temperatures. Who said writing was easy!

It was a great meeting with lots of enthusiastic writers present and some very good questions asked at the end. Members purchased some copies of Murder in the New Forest. Thank you Salisbury Writers.

Salisbury Writers meet on the first Wednesday of every month at Sarum College in the Cathedral Close.

Straw in the Wind is book two in the New Forest Mysteries featuring DI Callum MacLean. The manuscript went through all it’s edits in January and was available for pre order on Amazon. Thank you to everybody who purchased a copy. I hope you enjoy the second book in this crime series.

Book three, which is currently untitled, is underway. Another unfortunate victim comes to DI Callum MacLeod’s notice. This book is set in and around Godshill and Fordingbridge during a frosty January. More to follow.
