Lots of you have been asking how the third novel in the New Forest Murders is coming along.
Despite the distractions of spring flowers and summer sunshine and the inconvenience of cats sitting on my keyboard, I can report that I have nearly finished writing it. When I have added the final full stop, it will be sent to the publishers, The Book Folks, who will, as always, make a wonderful job of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s. When they are happy with the content, they will, as before, design a fitting cover.
Currently book three is called Killer in the New Forest, but this is just a working title and so may be changed before publication. I will keep you informed on that point.
I have included a couple of photos from my research of the setting for Killer in the New Forest. Can you work out where it is set?

So pleased that you enjoyed the first two books and that you find them strongly visual. I find that I am drawn to authors who give me strong visual pictures of settings so that I can feel that I am involved in the action.
